You are not alone -
look for the helping organisations. They are there for you!
There are safe and non corrupt people that can and
will do their best to help you out of your situation, if you are a victim of
trafficking, or other wise if you have been forced into prostitution.
If you (just) want to help the helping NGO by making a
donation either economical or otherwise - please see the list below to find the
relevant supporting organisation.
In some countries a given police officer might be
corrupt, and it is often difficult to define, who is good and who is bad. It is
easier with the NGOs (non-governmental-organisation).
They exist just to support and help the women.
The support you get differs from one country to another.
But mostly they can help and support you with:
- Access to the local/national health system – even though you are not
legally in the country
- Access to legal support e.g. if you are to be questioned by the police
- Access to immediate help and interim assistance on your way out of the
claws of prostitution
- A temporary stay in a safe place outside the big city, where you can
get help, support and care
- Consulting and care to support you in the process on how to get to a
new life.
You can get help to support you to connect with a
local NGO in your own home country – see links below.
IF YOU ARE NOT
ABLE TO FIND THE LOCAL HELPING ORGANISATION IN THE CITY YOU ARE IN, PLEASE GO
TO THE NEAREST CHURCH TO SEEK HELP.
Whether you yourself are the trafficked woman or you
know about one, who needs help in your area, please call the relevant phone
number to a local NGO mentioned below.
